Toby was Hillary's first pony. He was a wonderful find, he followed the golf cart and even jumped some small logs in his 30's. Toby was the pony of a lifetime and is still greatly missed.
Mima did lots of pony club activities and even started Hillary's eventing career, they completed at both Beginner Novice and Novice together. Mima went on to show several other kids the ropes and how to have a good time!
Fannie was just 5 when she and Hillary came together, she was bought for a few hundred dollars and was worth every penny. Hillary did her first training level event on her. Fannie lived out her life at Snooty Fox Farm in Florida.
Kilkeel was ridden through training level by Hillary and won the Sandhills Series in 2003 (the most points accumulated over 3 or 4 events in the Southern Pines area).
Monty taught Hillary to be a very aggressive XC rider and how to show off a bit in the dressage. They learned the ropes together and he helped to gave her all the tools to succeed.
He was bred by Hillary's grandparents in 2001. He arrived at Hillary's at the age of 3 and successfully competed with Hilary through the Intermediate level.
Tess is a 2002 homebred, out of a TB mare (Brandon's Ride) and Aberjack. She is not always the easiest horse on the flat, but she is a jumping machine. She successfully competed through the CCI2*L level.
2008-2016. Nicky has been a longtime catch ride for Hillary. He is a big, rangy, goofy horse that has a phenomenal gallop and jump. He is quite lovely to look at as well, which never hurts! Nicky was also a racetrack drop out--their loss was our gain.
We wish Irish well with her new family! Irish is a 2007, 15.3 HH, TB, MARE who climbed through the ranks with Hillary. She was 9th ranked USEA Mare Of The Year in September, 2015.
Impeccably bred, Mo won over $500k in Europe and the U.S. before coming to Hillary. He successfully competed through the 1* level after finishing 2nd at the Retired Racehorse Project!
Gen is a cross-country machine with warmblood movement and a thoroughbred stride! He and Hillary competed through the CCI3*L level before he was sold to show another rider the ropes.
Doby had other plans after being imported from Ireland to race. He and Hillary became a team and competed successfully through the CCI3L* level before he was retired to dressage and lower level jumping!
